Actress from 'Um Maluco no Pedaço' reveals that she was addicted to sex

Actress Jenifer Lewis, 69, who played Aunt Helen in the series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", revealed that she was addicted to sex. She exposed her experiences during her participation in the podcast "Baby, This is Keke Palmer", released this Tuesday (23).

In a conversation with actress Keke Palmer, 32, Jennifer Lewis admitted that going to bed became a kind of escape valve at the height of her career. According to Lewis, when he tried to "lower his adrenaline" after performances, he resorted to sex. At the time, she didn't see the compulsion as problematic.

"I'm not ashamed of anything. Sex really sucked. But I never knew it was a problem. I thought everyone was having sex," he said.

According to the actress, who played more than 300 roles in Hollywood, AIDS and the transmission of the HIV virus, which became an epidemic in the 1980s to 1990s, made her reevaluate her own choices.

"I knew 200 people who died. And when I say they died like flies, it's because they really died, one after the other. I mean, you'd get home and three people had just died. You'd get home and there would be five funeral notices on the answering machine," said Jennifer Lewis.

In addition to talking about her intimacy and career, the actress spoke about resilience after certain traumas and also about care after a bipolar diagnosis.

"I don't know how I stayed in this world. I don't know how I got to be 69, but here I am and I feel better than ever. I'm so happy in my life," she added.
