93% of Brazilians approve of Pix, says survey

Around 93% of the Brazilian population approves of the Central Bank's instant payments tool, Pix, according to data from the Ipsos-Ipec survey.

Of the people who approved, men have greater confidence, with 92%, compared to 93% of women. Acceptance is also greater among young people aged 16 to 34, of whom 97% approve.

Disapproval is also greater among people with complete primary education. Around 80% of this audience approves of the tool, compared to 12% who disapprove.

As for people who have completed high school, 95% approve. Respondents with Higher Education, in turn, are those who most accept the use of Pix, with 98% approval and only 1% distrust.

Family income also changed each interviewee's answer. People who earn up to the minimum wage approve Pix at 88%, the lowest level in the survey.

Those who most approve of the tool are also those with the highest family income, greater than five minimum wages. Around 97% of this audience approves of Pix.

The research was carried out between June 13 and 17, 2026, with the population aged 16 and over in the study area. 2,000 interviews were carried out in 130 municipalities.

The confidence level used is 95%, with a margin of error of plus or minus 2%.
