5 international celebrities who have already enjoyed the LGBT+ Pride Parade in SP
The São Paulo LGBT+ Parade turns 30 in this next edition. The event, which takes place on June 7th on Avenida Paulista, symbolizes the struggle of the LGBT+ movement over the years and proposes occupation, courage and struggle.
With the theme "The ballot box calls. The ballot box confirms", this year's LGBT+ Parade seeks to reflect on representation and the democratic search for rights and respect for diversity.
Over the years, some international celebrities were present at the event, with shows and special appearances that entertained the public. Check out some names that were already present at the party.
Mel C
Melanie Jayne Chisholm, known as Melanie C or Mel C, former member of the Spice Girls, participated in the São Paulo LGBT+ Pride Parade in 2019 and enchanted the public that filled Avenida Paulista. "I'm very happy to be back in São Paulo, a place that has always been generous to me", said the artist.

Christian Chávez
Former member of the Mexican group RBD, singer Christian Chávez participated in the event in 2012. The musician was in one of the electric trios, but did not participate in performances. The Mexican took advantage of the event in the electric trio of a dating site.

Cast of "Sense8"
The cast of the Netflix series participated in the event in 2016. Creator Lana Wachowski chose the Parade, held on Avenida Paulista, as the setting for the iconic scene in which the character Lito (Miguel Ángel Silvestre) publicly admits his homosexuality.

"Orange is the New Black" cast
The actresses from "Orange is the New Black" participated in the 19th São Paulo LGBT+ Pride Parade in June 2015. Natasha Lyonne (Nicky Nichols), Uzo Aduba (Suzanne "Crazy Eyes") and Samira Wiley (Poussey Washington) came to Brazil to promote the third season of the series.

Sink The Pink
The famous collective of drag queens from London came to Brazil in June 2019 to perform at the São Paulo LGBT+ Pride Parade. They were the biggest international attraction and performed alongside singer Melanie C.
