Firefighters had to use a fishing line, in addition to carrying out a controlled application of acetone, gradually removing the child's clothes and cutting the fabric of the sofa as the surfaces adhered to the superglue came loose. The child's left hand was kept immersed in warm water to help dissolve the glue.

After completely freeing the victim from the sofa, the fire department gradually removed the pants, which remained glued to the skin, restricting movement of the left leg. With the help of warm water and acetone, the clothing and packaging lid were also progressively removed, without any complications during the intervention.
