16th round of the World Cup: see dates, times and where to watch
The round of 16 phase of the World Cup has been defined, and most of its programming and broadcasts have already been confirmed. CazéTV will have a prominent role in coverage of the knockout stages, exclusively showing some of the main clashes of this stage, in addition to sharing other high-profile games with Globo and SBT.
Holding the broadcasting rights for all 104 games of the tournament, the platform will be responsible for four of the seven most anticipated clashes in the first knockout phase, in addition to four of the six prime time games, reinforcing its presence in the main times of the competition.
Among the exclusive highlights are matches involving traditional teams such as France, Portugal, England and the Netherlands, who enter the field in decisive duels for a place in the round of 16.
The opening round of the knockout stages begins with South Africa v Canada, followed by a sequence of games including the Netherlands v Morocco and France v Sweden. Following this, England x DR Congo, United States x Bosnia, Portugal x Croatia, Switzerland x Algeria and Colombia x Ghana will also be broadcast exclusively on CazéTV.
In addition, other high-profile matches will also be available on shared broadcast, such as Brazil x Japan, Germany x Paraguay, Mexico x Ecuador, Belgium x Senegal, Spain x Austria and Argentina x Cape Verde.
With this, the round of 16 stage promises strong multiplatform coverage and a wide variety of games, allowing the public to follow the main clashes in the opening of the World Cup knockout stages.
