Trump says ceasefire with Iran is over
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, arrived this Wednesday (8) "very angry" at the NATO summit meeting in Ankara, Turkey, and distributed criticism on all sides, with attacks on the Danish sovereignty of Greenland, on Spain's military spending and on what he considers the lack of help from allies in the war against Iran.

In a conversation with the press alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, before the formal opening of the summit in the capital of Turkey, the Republican president did not spare anyone.
"I am very angry with NATO," he told journalists. "I'm not satisfied with NATO for what they did with Greenland, and I'm not satisfied with NATO because they didn't want to help us with the main state sponsor of terrorism, which is Iran. They weren't willing to help us," he said.
The American repeatedly criticizes Western partners for not supporting him in the war that, together with Israel, he started on February 28 against Iran.
Trump also once again highlighted the issue of Greenland, an immense island in the Arctic under the sovereignty of Denmark that, according to him, the United States needs to annex to ensure its own security. The US already has a military base in the territory.
"Greenland is a big problem for us", he declared, before adding that the island is "very important for the United States, but it is not important for Denmark". "We need it to protect the world, not just the United States. It doesn't help Denmark, but it helps us," he added.
Denmark's Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, said again this Wednesday that Greenland is not for sale and insisted that it will defend its territory in the face of the North American threat.
"We are ready to defend every inch of NATO, including our own territory" in the event of an attack, said Frederiksen, and added that he will count on the alliance's allies to fulfill the commitment to mutual defense. "We hope that everyone, including all allies, will respect the right of the people of Greenland to self-determination," he added.

Earlier this year, Trump's threat to take Greenland by force put the Atlantic Alliance, of which Denmark is a member state, in a difficult situation.
After several weeks of aggressive rhetoric and the imminence of military action against the island, Trump lowered his tone and announced, in January, an agreement on Greenland with the secretary general of NATO, the details of which remain unclear.
Trump attacks Spain
This Wednesday, the North American president also criticized Spain again, which, according to him, does not spend enough on Defense and denied the use of two bases this year during the Israeli-American war against Iran.
"Spain is a lost cause. We don't want any more trade relations with Spain," Trump said. "They don't participate, they don't pay," he added.
At the NATO summit in The Hague last year, Spain was the only country that did not make the common commitment to increase defense spending to 5% of national GDP by 2035, adopted under pressure from Washington.
Since then, Trump has criticized Spain and threatened to adopt trade retaliatory measures. However, in the relationship with the United States, it is the EU, through the European Commission, that negotiates the conditions.
A source from the Spanish government, led by socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, said that the country receives Trump's criticisms "calmly and normally." Member State".
