Black Sabbath turned their anger at the manager and record company that ripped them off into an iconic album: 1975's "Sabotage." After years of success with Tony Iommi's heavy riffs, the band discovered they were being financially exploited while recording.

Geezer Butler explained that they signed legal papers in the studio while trying to create music. The title "Sabotage" came from exactly this feeling of betrayal. The album explodes with real fury: Ozzy Osbourne hitting soaring high notes on "Hole in the Sky" and thrash metal-influenced riffs on "Symptom of the Universe."

Black Sabbath, bastard children of the Birmingham blues, already had hits like "Paranoid" and "Black Sabbath". But "Sabotage" captured the genuine frustration of a band being sabotaged by those who were supposed to protect them. Instead of violence, they channeled everything into music - and the result is one of their angriest and most authentic albums.

This story reveals the dark side of the 70s music industry. "Sabotage" is not just heavy metal: it is pure protest against greed. A classic that every heavy rock fan needs to know!
