Apple announced this Monday (8) the creation of Siri AI, a revamped version of its assistant that gained its own application and became more focused on artificial intelligence resources.
The company demonstrated that the new version of Siri can help find tickets for shows, indicate where a photo was taken or plan events, for example.
The resources will be available on the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods and Vision Pro.
Siri AI will be released first in English and will be available in more languages in a future update.
Siri was launched in 2011 and is available on approximately 2.5 billion Apple devices. But a large part of users turn to applications such as ChatGPT and Claude, which has increased pressure from analysts on the company.
The assessment is that Apple is unable to take advantage of Siri's potential when processing data such as emails, messages and calendars to improve the user experience.
