PowerData survey released this Monday (8) shows that among Brazilians who claim to have become aware of the Master Case, 48% attribute responsibility to the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) for having allowed the irregularities related to the episode.


At the same time, 32% blame the management of former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL). Another 20% said they did not know who was primarily responsible for allowing the illegalities.


In the section on knowledge of the scandal, 54% of people said they knew what happened, while 44% said they had no knowledge about the case. 2% preferred not to respond to the survey.

Banco Master was liquidated by the BC (Central Bank) in November 2025 after a series of financial irregularities that culminated in the arrest of its former owner, Daniel Vorcaro.


The institution was at the center of a complex web of fraud that involved several sectors and entities.


Methodology
2,500 people were interviewed between May 30th and June 1st. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus. The confidence level is 95%.
