During WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), Apple launched its new operating system update, iOS 27. To receive the news, the technology company chose lines from 2019 to be updated, leaving out just one model.


Therefore, the iPhone 11, which was expected to be left out of the new feature, was included in the update and will be able to receive the iOS 27 system, as well as the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max models, and all subsequent generations. The one that didn't make the list was the iPhone SE (2nd generation), which will not have compatibility, despite being launched in 2020 and being supported by iOS 26. The choice to include 19 lines breaks the cycle of planned obsolescence of previous software, extending the useful life of devices with up to seven years on the market.


The new system should reach the public by the end of this year, along with the launch of the new line of iPhones (which usually happens in September).
