Cities in SP record temperatures below 5°C; see forecast

Six municipalities in the state of São Paulo recorded temperatures below 5°C in the early hours of this Sunday (7). The lowest record was made in Campos do Jordão, in Serra da Mantiqueira, where thermometers registered 2.2°C.

According to Civil Defense, in total, 49 cities recorded low temperatures this morning. Among the cities that recorded between 2.2°C and 5°C are: Campos do Jordão (2.2°C), Itirapina (3.7°C), Terra Roxa (4.4°C), Tuiuti (4.6°C), Cássia dos Coqueiros (4.9°C) and Apiaí (5°C).

Around 30 cities recorded temperatures between 5.2°C and 6.9°C. Another 11 municipalities registered 7°C, they are: Piracicaba, Pirassununga, São José dos Campos and the capital of São Paulo. Next come Jundiaí, Monte Alegre do Sul, Pederneiras and São José do Rio Pardo, with 7.2°C. Itaberá, São Roque and Sarapuí recorded 7.5°C.
