5 Guitar Amps for Beginners That Are Actually Great
Afinação: E A D G B ETecla: EmCapotraste: Sem capotraste
Jarrad Wright's 'Zoom Out' from the Sassy the Sasquatch Youtube series. (for the guy who requested it on
the big lez show subreddit)
This isn't too tough, but quite fiddly and requires a fair bit of tapping ability and stamina.
Make sure you've got a decent amount of drive to get clear taps, and a good understanding of the Em Pentatonic
Also super important - bar the high E string, B string and G string at the 12th fret and hold for the entirety
of the song.
The song consists of tapping and then pulling off from those taps around fairly regular Em Pentatonic shapes
[Intro]
e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| X2
B|-t17-p15-p12---------h15-p12-t19-p15-p12-------------12/7------------------|
G|-------------t16-p12---------------------t18-------------------------------|
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
For this section, keep holding the bar across the 12th fret on the the high E, B and G, hammer on and off
from 12 to 15 on the B string, whilst tapping 17 on the B and 16 on the G before pulling off to 12 on the G.
Then occassionally throw in 19 on the B and 18 on the G as you progress. Same notes as the intro section.
Play around with it whilst listening to the song and you should be able to replicate what Jarrad is doing
with these notes and techniques.
[Main Part]
e|-------------------------- -----------------------------------------------| As and when.
B|-t17-p15-p12-------------- ---t19-----------------------------------------|
G|-------------t16-p12------ -------t18-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------- -----------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------- -----------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------- -----------------------------------------------|
The song then falls apart, mess around with moving the bar and the taps downwards before ending on a big
Em power chord.
[Outro]
e|-0-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-0-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-x-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-2-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-2-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-0-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Or if you're in drop D tuning:
e|-x-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-5-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-4-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-2-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-2-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-2-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
