Official). Third Eye Blind é uma banda de rock americana formada em San Francisco, Califórnia, em 1993. Após anos de mudanças na formação no início e meados da década de 1990, a dupla de compositores Stephan Jenkins e Kevin Cadogan assinou o primeiro contrato de gravação da banda com uma grande gravadora, a Elektra Records, em 1996. A banda lançou seu álbum de estreia homônimo em 1997, com a formação composta principalmente por Jenkins, Cadogan, Arion Salazar (baixo) e Brad Hargreaves (bateria). Pouco depois do lançamento do segundo álbum da banda em 1999, Blue, com a mesma formação, Cadogan foi desligado do grupo em circunstâncias controversas.
