5 Guitar Amps for Beginners That Are Actually Great
Afinação: E A D G B ECapotraste: Sem capotraste
Composed by Nino Rota and conducted by Carlo Savina. Released on The Godfather OST in 1972 as
track no. 5: The Halls Of Fear.
This version edited for the soundtrack was not what actually played in the movie during Michael's visit
to the hospital. Rota had aptly noted this melody as "Hospital". It would take over half a century for
that to be released on the 2022 50th anniversary re-issue as The Halls Of Fear Pt. 1 (Film Version),
along yet another version titled The Halls Of Fear (Extended Version). Franco Sciannameo in his book
The Godfather Trilogy - A Film Score Guide confirmed that The Halls Of Fear Pt. 2 was recorded, which
though remains unreleased as of now.
The film version being an entirely separate recording and the extended version lacking this trumpet
solo opener of The Godfather Waltz, as well as playing for slightly different variations/durations.
After the trumpet here, the piano and cello will keep playing in the background as Michael's Theme
is used. The latter does so with tremolo. The trumpet remains the lead, later replaced by the oboe.
The horn and clarinet are also heard along some percussion. Mandolin transposal in standard tuning GDae.
