Combining tracks no. 1 (Main Title/Corleone Waltz #1) & 17 (Corleone Waltz #2) with this no. 27 of the 2022
re-release gives us the entire piece that was track no. 8 The Godfather Waltz) on the 1972 release - Simply in
different order (OST segments: Main Title - Corleone Waltz #3 - Corleone Waltz #1 - Corleone Waltz #2). It was
actually the soundtrack version of the Waltz that was edited together from these cues!
Comparing this to that version, Corleone Waltz #3 is identical to the second segment of The Godfather Waltz
timestamped at 0:39-2:35.
The mandolin plays the lead voice with a continuous tremolo. The clarinet plays the second voice and the oboe
the third. There are also a bassoon and a trumpet joining. The guitar, bass and drums play in the background.
