Perfect Love - Cohn Marc

Transcribed by Dave Hunter, dajh196@soton.ac.uk

A beautiful song, and not particularly tricky. I have only written out the main guitar part, I'll try and write out the rest another time, but you should be able to work most of it out yourself, it's based around the chords which makes it easier.

h = hammer on

p = pull off

X = slap

Perfect love,

it was a perfect love ooh yeah yeah.

Verse:

Well they worked on summer together at the '64 world's fair,

they met Robert Kennedy there,

well it was, right before the fall.

And they saved up a little bit of money for his career,

and they talked about the future,

underneath the giant sphere,

and all around them the little voices were singing,

"It's a small world after all",

yes it is, small world after all, and it was,

perfect love

it was a perfect love

(James Taylor - under the moon and the stars above,

it was a perfect love)

dreaming,

dreaming as the years roll by.

Like they always do,

well they had their share of hard times too.

But whatever they were, they never let it get them down.

They just go walking down the country lane,

see the leaves achanging in the misty rain,
