the opening notes (sounds like synth bass and not bass guitar, but whatever) is just whole notes.
sounds like all D until just before the vocal starts, there's a bar where it's two D notes -- like
quarter note and dotted half note -- then a B whole note, then an A whole note. most of the song is
around those notes. the ascending bit at 1'19'' (the part that sounds a bit like Berlin's "take
my breath away") alternates with the one after that (one starts at B and the other starts at A)
