“Jotham waged war against the king of the Ammonites and conquered them. That year the Ammonites paid him a hundred talents <n>That is, about 3 3/4 tons or about 3.4 metric tons</n> of silver, ten thousand cors <n>That is, probably about 1,800 tons or about 1,600 metric tons of wheat</n> of wheat and ten thousand cors <n>That is, probably about 1,500 tons or about 1,350 metric tons of barley</n> of barley. The Ammonites brought him the same amount also in the second and third years.”
