The navigation system developed by Brazilian technology for application in rockets, had its performance analyzed and data collected during the flight of the HANBIT-Nano, from South Korea, which exploded after launch in Brazil, during an attempt in 2025.

The product will be used in the MLBR (Brazilian Microlauncher) rocket that attempts to make the first orbital flight from Brazilian soil. Results indicate that the structure is fit even after the explosion of the South Korean rocket.

CNN Brasil had access to the information first hand. The launch of MBLR is scheduled for 2027.

Among the aspects evaluated were the equipment's resistance to vibration and shock conditions during the flight, the performance of the inertial sensors, the functioning of the GNSS receiver (Global Navigation Satellite System) aimed at the launchers, the operation phase sequencing software and the onboard navigation algorithms.

Developed through a technological order from AEB (Brazilian Space Agency), the system is the result of a partnership between CONCERT Space, HORUSEYE Tech and CRON.

The data was obtained by the company during a test that integrated a technological validation stage in a real flight environment. According to the developers, the results indicate that the technology is now ready for further testing, without the need for corrections.

"The analysis demonstrated that the system responded as expected within the conditions available for the test. Even in an adverse scenario and with reduced operating time, it was possible to validate the operation of the equipment in a real launch environment - and, in a way, in conditions even more severe than those of a conventional mission. The result represents a relevant advance for the development of national navigation and a fundamental step for Brazil to expand its capacity to produce its own launch vehicles", says Rafael Mordente CEO of Concert Space.

According to INNOSPACE, the next stage should be focused on new flight tests, including improvements aimed at the specific conditions of the vehicles in which the system will be used operationally.

The approval and validation of the system represents a strategic advance towards strengthening the Brazilian space chain, expanding the country's autonomy in access to space.
