For Maicon, the team's main problem has been the difficulty in transforming game volume into goals, something that, according to him, has been worked on daily in training.

"I believe that, if we don't get the three points, I don't think it's throwing my performance in the trash, but rather not achieving 100% of what I wanted, which was the three points. We play well, we convince, we start firmly, but that piece is missing. The athlete also commented on a statement by former Corinthian player and idol Vander Iacovino, who stated during the broadcast of the match that Corinthians' resumption of the season depends on Maicon's performance on the court.

The black and white shirt was grateful for the recognition, but highlighted that the team's success depends on the collective work and participation of the entire squad, especially young people who recently rose from the youth categories.

"Vander is an amazing guy, a guy who is respected in the world of futsal for everything he has done. I take that as a compliment for me, but I know my responsibility, I can't lower my head. I know that the team needs me. I've been there a little longer than the boys who have now come up from the Under-20s. I don't take all the responsibility on myself, we have to share it. Even without the victory, the performance against Santo André showed Corinthians being competitive for a good part of the match.
