Influencer Fabio Giga was driving a Porsche 911 GTS when he was involved in an accident with two motorcycles and two cars this Saturday (6). The 2026 model sports car costs more than R$1.3 million, according to the Fipe table, and can reach 312 km/h.
This is the first 911 to receive a hybrid system. The 3.6-liter bi-turbo six-cylinder engine generates 541 horsepower and 62.2 kgfm of torque. One of the innovations of this system is the installation of an electric motor between the compressor and the turbine rotor. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3 seconds.
With this, the Porsche is able to accelerate the compression of gases at low revs, create torque and increase acceleration. The system, installed in one of the turbines, can also recover kinetic energy and transform it into 11 kW.

The PDK dual-clutch transmission has another electric motor installed inside it that provides an extra 15.3 kgfm. As a reference, a naturally aspirated Volkswagen Polo 1.0 has a torque of just 10.3 kgfm.
This engine also delivers an extra power of 54 hp for the Porsche 911. Both engines are connected to a compact lithium ion battery of just 1.9 kWh. The 3.6 bi-turbo combustion engine alone generates 485 hp.

Improved suspension
For the first time, Porsche offers the steering rear axle as a standard item. This technology lightly steers the rear wheels to facilitate maneuvering in tight spaces and also increases stability when changing directions at high speed.
Known for the fine tuning of its suspensions, Porsche integrated its dynamic chassis control (PDCC) into the GTS's 400V high voltage system. As a result, the actuators' responses are faster and more precise to balance the 911.
The GTS version driven by the influencer has a suspension lowered by 10 mm compared to the Carrera versions of the 911.

Movable aerodynamics
At the ends of the front bumper of the 911 GTS, there are sets of five vertical movable flaps. They move and control the air flow to cool the radiators.
There are also adaptive front diffusers on the sub-chassis. They control the airflow under the car. Everything to optimize aerodynamics and also improve engine cooling in situations of high power demand.

Accident with Fábio Giga
Bodybuilder and influencer Fábio Giga lost control of a Porsche and crashed into two motorcycles and two cars this Saturday afternoon (6), in the South Zone of São Paulo. The accident happened on Avenida das Juntas Provisórias, towards Ipiranga.
According to the Civil Police, Fábio took a breathalyzer test, and the result was negative for alcohol.
According to the Engineering and Traffic Company (CET), two victims were rescued and taken to health units in the region.

Security cameras recorded the moment of the accident. In the record, it is possible to see that the car skids, hits two motorcycles and then hits a wall that houses the Expresso Tiradentes columns.
In addition, the car was just a few meters away from hitting another motorcycle with two people that was coming just ahead. It is also possible to see that the luxury car's airbag was activated.
According to Fábio, the person who was with him in the car was another influencer known as Bitelo.
Another camera recorded a different angle of the accident. In this recording, it is possible to see the two motorcyclists sliding on the asphalt after being hit by the Porsche.
