Revalida: first stage will be applied this Sunday; see the guidelines

Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira) applies, this Sunday, June 7th, the first stage of the National Revalida Exam (Revalidation of Medical Diplomas Issued by a Foreign Higher Education Institution) 2026/1.

The selection process evaluates the knowledge of doctors graduated abroad so that they can practice their profession legally in Brazil.

Participants can check the exact address and registration number on the Registration Confirmation Card, available on the Revalida System. Inep recommends taking the printed document on Sunday, although it is not mandatory. The card also contains confirmations of specialized care or treatment by social name.

Structure of the Objective Test
The assessment of this first phase will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (with four alternatives each and only one correct answer). The items will address problem situations and clinical cases based on the Common Reference Matrix for the Assessment of Medical Training (Inep Ordinance No. 478/2025).

The questions are aligned with the National Curricular Guidelines for the Undergraduate Medicine Course, the standards of the SUS (Unified Health System) and the medical legislation in force in the country.

What documents are accepted to access the exam room?
To guarantee access to the exam room, candidates must pay attention to the identification rules. Presenting an original official document with photo is mandatory. The good news is that, in addition to traditional physical ballots, official digital versions will also be accepted by the organization.

Physical documents allowed

- Identity Card (RG): issued by Public Security Secretariats (SSP), Military Police (PM), Federal Police (PF) or Armed Forces.

- Passport.

- National Driving License (CNH): physical model.

- Work and Social Security Card (CTPS).

- Foreigner or refugee ID: issued by the Ministry of Justice.

- National Migration Registration Card (CRNM).

- Professional cards: issued by professional orders or councils.

Authorized digital versions
If you prefer to use your smartphone, the candidate must present the document through the corresponding official applications or through the Gov.br platform. Are accepted:

- RG Digital

- Digital CNH

- e-Título

- Digital National Identity Card (CIN)

Inep also encourages candidates to download applications and test access to digital documents before leaving home. It is worth noting that screenshots (prints) or unauthenticated copies will not be accepted.
