Young singer-songwriter Malcolm Todd confirms his artistic growth with the release of "Do That Again", an album that has been touted as one of the most interesting works in indie pop in 2026.

The work presents an artist increasingly comfortable transforming feelings, insecurities and personal experiences into music. Throughout the album's thirteen tracks, Malcolm builds an intimate narrative about relationships, desires, vulnerabilities and emotional conflicts that speak directly to a generation accustomed to exposing emotions on social media, but which still finds it difficult to deal with them in real life.

The great highlight of "Do That Again" is precisely its honesty. Instead of looking for gigantic choruses or radio formulas, Malcolm bets on confessional lyrics full of humanity. The songs sound like pages ripped from a diary, bringing the artist closer to his listeners in an extremely authentic way.

The production is also worth highlighting. The album combines elements of indie pop, bedroom pop, alternative R&B and smooth electronic music, creating a modern and immersive atmosphere. At various times, the delicate sound serves as a backdrop for lyrics that explore emotional insecurity, the fear of rejection and the complexities of contemporary relationships.

Another praised aspect is Malcolm's ability to balance melancholic moments with lighter and more accessible passages. This dynamic keeps the album interesting from beginning to end and prevents the emotional charge from making the experience overly heavy.

"Do That Again" follows the album of the same name released by the artist in 2025 and demonstrates a significant evolution in his composition and musical production. Malcolm himself revealed that some of the songs went through long refinement processes until they achieved the desired result.

With a duration of approximately 35 minutes and thirteen new tracks, the album consolidates Malcolm Todd as one of the most promising names in the new generation of international indie pop.
