Corinthians could receive millionaire value with Memphis in the World Cup

Corinthians has a representative for the 2026 World Cup: Memphis Depay, who will defend the Netherlands team. FIFA will even pay a daily fee to the club for the striker's participation in the competition.

Each day of the World Cup will yield approximately 11 thousand dollars (R$ 56.6 thousand) to the black and white coffers - a daily figure made available by the entity to the clubs of each participating athlete.

Therefore, if the Netherlands reaches the final of the 2026 World Cup and participates in the full 39 days of the tournament, Memphis Depay's call-up will yield Corinthians 429 thousand dollars (R$ 2.2 million).
