The majority of Brazilians disapprove of the participation of the first lady, Rosângela Lula da Silva, known as Janja, in the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). This is what the PoderData survey released this Friday (5) points out.


According to the survey, 52% of those interviewed said they disapproved of Janja's performance in the current administration. Another 31% said they approved of their participation, while 17% were unable to respond.


Among those who disapprove of the First Lady's performance, the largest proportion is among young people aged 16 to 24 (61%), people with completed higher education (72%), respondents with an income above five minimum wages (74%) and residents of the South region (70%).

Among those who approve of their participation in the government, there is a predominance of people aged 60 or over (40%), respondents with complete primary education (41%), income of up to two minimum wages (41%) and residents of the Northeast region.


Methodology
2,500 people were interviewed across the country between May 30th and June 1st, 2026. The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus, with a 95% confidence level.
