The electric trio of the March for Jesus, held this Thursday (4), in São Paulo, was attended by several Brazilian politicians and authorities, including the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ).

In a speech at the event, Flávio told those present that the war that the world and Brazil are experiencing is "spiritual".

"Let's pray for our Brazil, this war is spiritual and today this is the greatest response we can give to the evil world that will be expelled from the government of Brazil this year in the name of the Lord Jesus, amen", he said.

In addition to the senator, other authorities and politicians will be present at the event. Among them, the minister of the STF (Supreme Federal Court) André Mendonça; the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas; the mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes; and deputies Guilherme Derrite (PP-SP), Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ) and Ribamar Silva (Podemos-SP).

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) did not attend the event. In a phone call to the apostle Estevam Hernandes, leader of the Renascer em Cristo Church and organizer of the event, he justified his absence by saying that he does not participate in "anything religious" in an election year so as not to give the impression that he wants to "take political advantage of a sacred thing".

"I'll tell you why I'm not going. I don't participate in anything religious during election times, because I don't want to give the idea that I'm trying to take political advantage of something sacred," said the president.

The call was announced by the Union's attorney general, Jorge Messias, who was next to Hernandes in the electric trio.

According to records made by the Public Debate Monitor of USP/CEBRAP (Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning) and the NGO More In Common, approximately 33.8 thousand people were present at the 34th March for Jesus.

The count was made from aerial photos analyzed by artificial intelligence software. As the final destination of the event was in an area where the use of drones is unsafe, close to Campo de Marte, there were only records of concentration and displacement.

Due to the 12% margin of error in the count, it is possible to estimate that there were between 29,800 and 37,800 participants at the peak time between concentration and commuting, at 10:20 am.
