The president then explained that Corinthians only holds part of the attacker's economic rights and established the minimum value to open negotiations.

"There is no, no (chance to sell Yuri). Corinthians has a percentage, a value stipulated by that percentage: 20 million euros. If it comes, we'll release it. If they don't want to, they can pay the termination fine too. Yuri stays!"

Currently, Corinthians owns 45% of Yuri Alberto's economic rights. The remainder is divided between Zenit, from Russia, which owns 50%, and businessman André Cury, who owns 5%.

In addition to addressing the striker's situation, Osmar Stabile also spoke about the conversations involving Memphis Depay's stay. The Dutchman's contract remains an internal issue, mainly due to the financial situation experienced by the club.

The director revealed that he is awaiting a decision from the player to assess the feasibility of a new agreement.

"Memphis has always said that it would make a discount. We hope that it will provide a value that can be reached to see if we can afford it. Corinthians, today, has financial problems, we have to resolve them. There are women's expenses, the base expenses... the cost is very high. The tendency is to reduce the debt by the end of the year."

He then reinforced that the continuity of the number 10 will depend on the conditions presented by the athlete himself.

"It will depend a lot on him. It doesn't depend so much on Corinthians, it depends on what he will offer us to know if we can do (the deal) or not."

While monitoring market movements, Corinthians works internally to maintain pieces considered important for the squad led by Fernando Diniz. The next transfer window in Brazilian football will open on July 20th and will remain available until September 11th.

The black and white board is also looking for financial alternatives to make it possible for Memphis Depay to remain, including the possibility of new commercial agreements and sponsorships aimed at the project involving the Dutch striker.
