Mari Saade accuses Stênio Garcia's ex-wife of lying in court

Actress Mari Saade, 57, used social media last Wednesday (3) to announce that she will take legal action against Clarice Piovesan, 72, ex-wife of Stênio Garcia, 94.

In the new episode of the imbroglio, Mari Saade accuses Clarice of lying in court, hiding documents and trying to obtain everything that was achieved by the couple in the 28 years they have been together.

"Whoever lies in court can be punished. Stênio's ex-wife lies in court, imputes wealth just because we have photos with people considered rich and wants to put my family's assets in check", said the actress on Instagram.

Saade stated that the relationship between Clarice and Stênio came to an end because of a betrayal that was allegedly committed by the woman. She also stated that her husband was sued by his ex in 1994 after giving an interview.

"Now, she will be prosecuted for lying in court. It is worth mentioning that she and her daughter coerced the real estate company's lawyer to hide documents proving the rental", he said.

Mari promised to reveal some of the statements she heard from Clarice and Stênio's daughters on another occasion.

The legal fight refers to a victory for the actor against his daughters and ex-partner. He started to receive R$5,000 a month in pension for an apartment he owns in Ipanema, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, and which is used by the trio.

What happened?
Stênio Garcia fought in court to have the right to use the property in Ipanema that he bought in 1986. In 1992, he passed the apartment into the name of his daughters, who were still minors at the time, with usufruct rights for himself.

According to the actor, over the years, he was prevented from accessing the property and did not even receive the amount of rent collected by the trio between 2019 and 2023. He even called the Military Police to be able to enter the residence during one of the fights with his ex-wife.

The lawyer who represents him, Luiz Mantovani, maintains that the process should not be seen just as a family dispute, but as a measure to ensure the dignity and livelihood of the actor, who claims to be experiencing family difficulties since leaving TV Globo in 2020.
