Currently 42 years old, striker Paolo Guerrero, world champion with Corinthians in 2012, gave an interview to the L1Max channel, suggesting that midfielder André Carrillo, who has defended Alvinegro's colors since mid-2024, should be a reinforcement for Alianza Lima, from Peru. Like André Carrillo, who has a relationship with Alianza, Paolo Guerrero has represented the Peruvian team's shirt since 2024. After leaving Peruvian football, Carrillo played for: Sporting-POR (2011/2012 to 2015/2016), Benfica-POR (2016/2017), Watford-ING (2017/2018), Al-Hilal (2018/2019 to 2023/2024) and Al-Qadisiyah (2023/2024 to 2024/2025). His contract with Corinthians ends in December.

"I think he (André Carrillo) is certainly thinking about his current club at the moment, but everyone knows that, due to his roots, white and blue blood runs through his veins. I'm sure that, at some point, he will be here at Alianza Lima, winning titles. I'm very clear about that," he said.

André Carrillo arrived at Corinthians almost two years ago, after not having his contract renewed in the Arab world. He was a starter in the team's start to the Brasileirão 2024 (from Z4 to Pré-Libertadores), in addition to being part of the victories of the Campeonato Paulista (2025), Copa do Brasil (2025) and Supercopa do Brasil (2026), against Palmeiras, Vasco da Gama and Flamengo, respectively. In total, there are three goals and six assists in 96 games (59 as a starter) with the Timão shirt.

The center forward played for Corinthians between July 2012 and May 2015. His most memorable moment for the club came in his first year at the club, in December 2012, when he scored Timão's goals in winning the Club World Cup in Japan. In total, there were 54 goals and 16 assists in 130 matches (117 as a starter) for Alvinegro, having won: World Cup (2012), Paulistão (2013), Recopa Sul-Americana (2013) and Brasileirão (2015).
