US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday (3) that he and Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei "appear to be getting along very well" - despite Khamenei not having been seen in public since the start of the US war in Iran.
When asked by the American newspaper New York Post about the supreme leader's health, Trump replied: "I haven't heard that he's well."
"If you believe the stories, he's, you know, missing several parts of his body," the president said. Khamenei was reportedly seriously injured in the first US strike against Iran, which killed his father, Ali Khamenei.
