Geely EX2 will be produced at the Ayrton Senna Complex in 2026

Renault Geely do Brasil confirmed, on Tuesday (2), the production of the Geely EX2 at the Ayrton Senna Complex, in Paraná, until the end of 2026. The hatch will be Geely's second car produced in the country, after the EX5 EM-i hybrid, and the first 100% electric, being produced at CVU (Curitiba Veículos Utilitárias).

The EX2 was launched in Brazil in November 2025 and has been growing exponentially in the market and in the desire of the Brazilian consumer. Despite having already been the best-selling compact electric vehicle in the world and the best-selling electric vehicle in China in all categories in 2025, closing the year with more than 465 thousand units sold, the growth in demand in Brazil created the need to carry out assembly in Brazil.

The 100% electric compact hatchback has an LFP battery with a capacity of 39.4 kWh, but it charges from 30 to 80% in approx. 20 min at 70 kW at a DC charging point. At slow AC charge, from 10% to 100%, the standby time can last up to 6h30min. The model has a single engine mounted on the rear axle - making it the only rear-wheel drive electric compact in Brazil - which carries a total of 1300 kg and provides 289 km of autonomy (INMETRO).

With 116 hp of power and 150 Nm of maximum torque, the Geely EX2 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 140 km/h. The model does not hide the fact that its natural habitat is the city and the urban environment and equips a full range of mobility and safety items, such as:
