The date of Corpus Chriti, celebrated this Thursday (04), changes the functioning of some services.


Banks


Bank branches throughout Brazil will not open for in-person service to the public this Thursday (04). Bank compensations, including TED (Available Electronic Transfer), will not be effective on that date. There will also be no trading on the Stock Exchange (B3).

Charge slips and consumption bills (water, energy, telephone, among others) due on days when there is no bank clearing can be paid, without surcharge, on the next business day, Friday (05). The payment of taxes and duties must be anticipated in order to avoid charging interest and fines.


Internet banking, mobile banking and ATMs can be used to pay bills, check balances and statements and transfers, among other services. PIX works normally.

Post offices will suspend operations this Thursday (04). On that date, the company will be available through automated service on the following channels:


- Correios website, on the Contact Us page, at https://www.correios.com.br/falecomoscorreios/central-de-atendimento;


- telephones: 4003-8210; 0800-881-8210; 0800-881-8211 (services for people with hearing impairment);


- WhatsApp: 11 4003-8210;


- chat, available directly on the portal and on the Super App.


INSS


National Social Security Institute (INSS) agencies across the country will be closed on Thursday (04) and Friday (05).


Remote channels will remain available. My INSS (application or website) allows you to request benefits and appointments. Central 135 will operate normally, with human support from 7am to 10pm and electronic support available 24 hours a day.


Rotation in São Paulo


The City of São Paulo suspended the municipal vehicle rotation on Thursday (04) and Friday (05).


Other existing restrictions in the city will be maintained from Friday (05). The following are not in force on Thursday (04): the rotation of heavy vehicles (trucks), the Zone of Maximum Restriction on the Circulation of Trucks (ZMRC) and the Zone of Maximum Restriction for Chartered Vehicles (ZMRF).


The exclusive bus lanes will also be open to cars on Thursday (04).


The paid rotating parking lot, Zona Azul, will operate normally, according to the signage at each location.


Gas stations must be open at least from 6am to 8pm from Monday to Saturday, including on holidays, according to the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency.
