Trump celebrated, this Tuesday (2), the result in the first round of the elections Colombians of far-right presidential candidate Abelardo de la Espriella, who, in turn, declared his total support for US security projects in the region.
De la Espriella is the favorite to win the second round, according to some polls.

Brazil, the largest country in Latin America, will hold elections in October, and Trump revealed his preference for Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) instead of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), with whom he met a month ago.
Flávio Bolsonaro is the eldest son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, an ally of Trump who is in prison for an attempted coup d'état.
Trump will attend the NATO summit in July
In his testimony this Wednesday, Rubio also confirmed Trump's presence at the meeting of NATO heads of state, which will take place in Turkey in July.
"I think the The next meeting between NATO and Turkey in July is probably the most important in the history of NATO, because there are some issues that need to be clarified and resolved," Rubio told parliamentarians, adding that "the president himself will be present."
