Trump's secretary says Iran agreed to negotiate nuclear program Marco Rubio denied that peace negotiations had been interrupted. More than three months after the US and Israel launched attacks against Iran, the conflict is at an impasse. On Monday, Iran even stated that it had interrupted negotiations after Israel's attacks on Lebanon. . Trump, however, said that negotiations were continuing and that there would be an agreement to extend the ceasefire and reopen the Strait of Hormuz next week. The US president also stated that he spoke with Netanyahu and Hezbollah to stop the attacks.
