The electropop artist reached the music charts in 2024 with the album "Brat", and said that her next release would be very different from the last project, marked by electrifying beats and auto-tune. In a cover story for British Vogue in April, Charli said: "For me, it's fun to subvert the format. We know there will be people who are uncomfortable with it, but that's okay."
In addition to the new album, the singer will headline major festivals in the United States: Charli xcx is among the main attractions at Lollapalooza 2026, in Chicago, Outside Lands, in San Francisco, and Austin City Limits, in Texas. She recently released "Wutherin Heights", a special album for the film adaptation of "Wuthering Heights", directed by Emerald Fennell.
