Dua Lipa's wedding dress was inspired by Mick Jagger's bride

Singer Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner tied the knot this Sunday (31) at the Old Maylebone Town Hall, in London. The voice of "Houdini" surprised by choosing an ivory blazer with a long hat to exchange rings. But Dua's look recalled another fashion bride: Bianca Pérez-Mora Macías, who would become Bianca Jegger.

When she married Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger in May 1971, Bianca walked down the aisle in Saint-Tropez, on the French coast, wearing an ivory Yves Saint Laurent ensemble, consisting of a Le Smoking blazer and a long bias-cut skirt, complemented by a wide-brimmed hat with a veil.

Bianca dared to take to the ceremony a piece that had been created just four years ago and that would become a symbol of female liberation: the Le Smoking blazer, a piece that would introduce the tuxedo to the women's wardrobe. "Over the decades, as wedding trends came and went, Bianca's skirt set remained a reference for brides who want to escape tradition without giving up elegance and timelessness", points out Anna Cafolla, from Vogue USA magazine.

Upon leaving London City Hall, Dua Lipa and Callum were photographed as the small group of guests threw a shower of confetti. The artist chose an exclusive Schiaparelli ensemble, by Daniel Roseberry, with an ivory blazer with a cinched waist that made her silhouette impeccably structured, with personalized gold buttons, and an asymmetrical skirt that incorporates a lace bustier. The look was completed with white gloves, Loubotin pumps with details inspired by lion's eyes, a Bulgari necklace and a wide-brimmed hat designed by Stephen Jones, lined with gold leaf.

Rumor has it that the couple will head to Italy for a second wedding celebration, this time lasting several days in the Palermo region of Sicily.
