Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi, stated this Sunday (31) that talks and messages with the United States are ongoing.
In an interview with the state press, the minister explained that negotiations with Donald Trump's government continue and that results must be expected concrete.
"We should not give importance to speculation or judge the conversations until we have a clear result", said Araqchi, according to Reuters.
Earlier, in an interview with Fox News, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated that negotiations with Iran to end the war are "very close to a very good agreement".
Trump says that an agreement with Iran is close, but threatens military action if there is no progress
The excerpt was published by the White House profile on the social network However, the agreement is, in part, motivated by a humanitarian vision. "You save a lot of lives. Whether it's on the other side or not, you save a lot of lives," Trump said.

Resumption of attacks
This Saturday (30), American Secretary of Defense and head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth said that the United States is ready to resume attacks on Iran if there is no agreement.
"Our ability to resume [attacks] if necessary... we are more than capable," Hegseth said in Singapore. "Our stocks are more than adequate for this, both there and around the world, so we are in a very good position," he added.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it intercepted and destroyed an American MQ-1 drone in the early hours of Sunday (31), after it entered Iranian territorial waters with hostile intentions. The US did not comment on what happened.
The head of the Pentagon also said that President Donald Trump is being "patient" and wants to close a "big deal" that guarantees that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.
On Friday (29), Trump stated that he would meet in a secure room in the White House to make a "final decision" on a proposal to end the war with Iran.
The proposal foresees the extension of a truce that began in early April for more 60 days, giving negotiators time to seek a permanent agreement to the conflict.
The war started by the United States and Israel on February 28 killed thousands of people, mainly in Iran and Lebanon, and caused impacts on the global economy by raising energy prices due to Iran's effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
