Vasco wins in the South American Championship, but will have to play in the tournament's playoffs

Vasco beat Barracas Central 3-0 this Wednesday (27), at the São Januário Stadium, in the last round of Group G of the Copa Sudamericana. Despite the result, the Rio club was unable to advance directly to the round of 16 and will have to compete in the competition's playoffs.

The team depended on Audax Italiano winning over Club Olimpia by a maximum of two goals to take the lead in the group. However, Olimpia won 3-1, a result that kept Vasco in second place in the group.

Nine minutes into the second half, the Rio club scored another goal. Adson gave Demartino a nice pen and tried to dribble, but ended up being knocked down. The remainder fell to Rojas, who shot hard into the corner to make it 3-0.

Vasco scored the fourth with Bruno Lopes, but the move was canceled due to offside at the origin of the play.
