PF carries out new investigation into payroll loans; Augusto Lima, Vorcaro's former partner, will be heard again

The Federal Police (PF) once again delved into the Banco Regional de Brasília (BRB) scandal, with new investigations into payroll loans, especially Credcesta.

CredCesta is a dedicated benefit card offered to public servants, retirees and pensioners. The operation, which began in Bahia, is seen by investigators as the link between Daniel Vorcaro and his former partner Augusto Lima.
Lima, who was arrested by the PF in Operation Compliance Zero, launched in November last year, has a history associated not only with Banco Master fraud, but also with the names of politicians.
Vorcaro's former partner is close, for example, to PT members from Bahia, such as minister Rui Costa (Casa Civil) and the government leader in the Senate, Jaques Wagner (PT-BA).
The PF should open a new phase of testimonies about the deal between Master and BRB. Lima is identified as one of Vorcaro's connections to convince BRB to buy portfolios from the bank now liquidated by the Central Bank.
Lima should be heard again by the PF in the coming days, according to investigators of the case.
The new phase of investigation is based on Vorcaro's conversations recorded on his first cell phone, which exposes messages to convince BRB to close the purchase of Master's portfolios and, later, Vorcaro's own bank.
