The President of the USA, Donald Trump, made comments about Lula with Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) during the meeting with the senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic at the White House, on Tuesday (26), and praised the president of Brazil. The information comes from TV Globo's correspondent in Washington, Raquel Krähenbühl.
Donald Trump gave the same praise to President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) that he had already said publicly.

Request to classify criminal groups as terrorists
According to Flávio, during the meeting, he asked the President of the United States, Donald Trump, that the criminal factions Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (CV) be classified as terrorist organizations.
The parliamentarian also said that he discussed with Trump issues such as public security, tariffs and rare earths.
"I emphatically asked President Trump to designate how much before the PCC and the Red Command as foreign terrorist organizations", he stated.

According to Flávio, Trump responded that he will analyze the classification of Brazilian factions as terrorist groups.
Currently, the Lula government advocates that the US not classify PCC and CV as terrorist groups. The assessment at Palácio do Planalto is that the measure would open space for actions such as military intervention in Brazil.
Public security experts also argue that Brazilian legislation to combat criminal factions provides for harsher penalties than the anti-terrorism law.
