Inter accumulates recognition as one of the main neobanks in the world

At the end of 2025, Inter was elected one of the main neobanks in the world by CNBC and Statista. Digital, accessible and efficient solutions were decisive for the selection against more than 2 thousand fintechs evaluated.

The list includes companies of all sizes, covering seven different market segments.

The Brazilian financial institution was also elected one of the best banks in the world by Forbes' World's Best Banks 2026 ranking.

Ranking is prepared by CNBC in partnership with Statista
The highlighted companies were selected based on documentary research carried out by Statista - a global data and market intelligence platform -, together with editorial contributions from CNBC - one of the main business journalism and financial market channels in the world.

The "Neobanks" segment, in which Inter was one of the highlighted companies, refers to exclusively digital financial institutions, which normally operate with minimal or no physical presence of branches.

The key performance indicators (KPIs) of the fintechs listed were also analyzed:

Operation of neobanks must follow Bacen criteria
Inter's performance as a neobank and financial institution in Brazil takes place under the strict regulation of the Central Bank of Brazil (Bacen). Including in relation to the new standards and regulatory scope that came into force in September 2025.

Among the criteria used to monitor and authorize institutions of this size are:

- minimum capital requirement that guarantees the stability of the system and coverage of operational and credit risks;

- compliance, strict standards for preventing money laundering, cybersecurity and consumer protection policies;

- corporate governance based on transparency in financial statements and guarantee that the institution has liquidity and structure to fulfill its obligations - including protection from the FGC (Credit Guarantee Fund).

Inter was also voted one of the best banks in the world by Forbes
In the World's Best Banks 2026 ranking, Inter marks its eighth consecutive year on the Forbes list as one of the best banks in the world. The award is based on parameters related to the perception of real customers around the world, such as:

- trust in the institution;

- quality of financial services;

- capacity for innovation;

- customer experience;

- financial advice and support.

In Brazil, Inter achieved second place, reinforcing its prominent position in the financial sector.

Institution is also one of the winners of the Modern Consumer Award
Inter is one of the winners of the 2026 Modern Consumer Award, in the Neobanks segment. The award aims to recognize and give visibility to companies, professionals and partners that stand out for the quality of their relationships with clients in Brazil.

In addition, it values practices that combine innovation, positive impact, measurement of results and consolidation of a customer-centric culture.
