The Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) scheduled the trial of the case involving facts recorded in the match between Flamengo and Palmeiras, valid for the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship, for Thursday (28), at 10am. The case will be analyzed by the Fourth Disciplinary Committee.

The STJD Prosecutor's Office charged Flamengo midfielder Carrascal after his expulsion in the 21st minute of the first half.

According to the summary, the player hit defender Murilo in the face with the sole of his boot during a ball dispute. The athlete will be liable for a violent play, falling within the scope of article 254 of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD), whose penalty varies from one to six matches of suspension.

Striker Paulinho, from Palmeiras, was also reported.

According to the referee's report, the player had provoked the home fans during the celebration of one of the São Paulo team's goals. The Prosecutor's Office framed the case under article 258-A of the CBJD, which provides for suspension of two to six matches. Alternatively, classification under article 258 was requested, due to conduct contrary to ethics or sporting discipline.

Flamengo coach, Leonardo Jardim, will respond for disrespectful complaint after statements at a press conference about the arbitration. According to the complaint, the coach stated that "it is very easy to give Flamengo red cards" and that the referee "always blows the whistle for the same color". The framework was made in article 258, item II, of the CBJD, with a provision for suspension of one to six matches.
