A 48-year-old woman, identified as Roseli Fernandes de Oliveira Romeiro Vieira, died this Tuesday morning (26) after falling ill in a medical office located on Avenida Santo Amaro, in the south zone of São Paulo.


According to CNN Brasil from SSP-SP (São Paulo Public Security Secretariat), the victim had undergone, the previous day, an aesthetic filling procedure in the buttocks applied by a 36-year-old doctor.


After the procedure, the woman began to feel severe pain and discomfort. Still according to the SSP, she took medications, some of them prescribed by the professional responsible for the care.

The patient returned to the office to be reevaluated. However, upon arriving at the scene, he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest.


The doctor began resuscitation procedures while still in the office until the arrival of Samu, who also tried to help the victim. Despite attempts, the woman did not resist and died at the scene.

The case was registered as suspicious death, accidental death and homicide in the 27th Police District Dr. Ignácio Francisco. According to the police report, the victim had undergone a buttock and thigh remodeling procedure on May 5th, at an office in the Brooklin Office building.


Investigations are ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the death.
