Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey comes to Brazil with a themed show; see prices

Singer Mariah Carey will return to Brazil for two special performances on her "Mariah Carey's Christmas Time" Christmas tour.

The shows will take place in November and mark the first time that the artist brings to the country the themed show inspired by Christmas, known for the great festive hits of her career.

The presentations will be held on November 17th, at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, and on November 21st, in the outdoor area of Farmasi Arena, in Rio de Janeiro.

The official announcement took place this Tuesday (26) and drew attention on social media because of a themed action linked to Mariah Carey's famous "thawing". Every year, the singer goes viral on the internet with memes that joke about the arrival of Christmas and the return of Christmas hits to the charts, especially "All I Want for Christmas Is You".

To publicize the shows, a huge block of ice was installed on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo. At noon, the ice began to "thaw" and revealed the artist's image, in direct reference to the tradition created by fans on social media.

Ticket sales start this Thursday (28), in an exclusive pre-sale for special customers. The general sale will open on Monday (1st), at noon, Brasília time.

The shows are part of the "Mariah Carey's Christmas Time" tour, a show known for bringing together the singer's main Christmas hits, as well as other notable hits from her career. The expectation is that the repertoire will include classic songs from the album "Merry Christmas", released in 1994.

Mariah Carey's last visit to Brazil took place in September 2025, when the singer was one of the main attractions at the The Town festival, held at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in São Paulo.
