Operation targets fake doctors who provided more than 2,000 consultations in SP

The Civil Police of São Paulo carried out, on the morning of this Tuesday (26), an operation against two men who pretended to be doctors and carried out around 2 thousand consultations over two years in a private hospital in the East zone of the capital.

The investigations take place in the capital of São Paulo and in the municipalities of São Bernardo do Campo, Guarulhos, Poá and Mogi das Cruzes; So far a target has been located.

The police investigation also found that nine patients died as a result of alleged errors and failures in the care provided.

The operation is carried out by the 22nd Police District, in São Miguel Paulista. In total, seven search and seizure warrants were executed, two for temporary arrest, in addition to two other precautionary measures determined by the Courts.
