Rio2C: what it is, where it takes place and everything about the event

Rio2C is considered the largest creativity meeting in Latin America and annually brings together thousands of creative industry professionals in Rio de Janeiro.

The event connects names from audiovisual, music, media, technology, advertising, sport, fashion, science, sustainability and innovation in an intense program of lectures, debates, business rounds, workshops and immersive experiences.

The 2026 edition takes place between May 26th and 31st, at Cidade das Artes, one of the main cultural spaces in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The meeting reaches its eighth edition with dozens of themed stages and hundreds of national and international guests.

In 2025, Rio2C brought together more than 53 thousand participants, 2 thousand speakers, 36 countries represented, in addition to thousands of business meetings and pitchings focused on the audiovisual and entertainment market.

The program is divided into different thematic spaces, each focused on a specific area of the creative industry. Among them is GlobalStage, the main stage of the event, which hosts big international names and debates on culture, creativity, behavior and social impact.

Another highlight is the Writer's Room, aimed at screenwriters, directors, writers and content creators. The space discusses the challenges of creating stories in an era marked by rapid consumption of information, social networks and multiple screens.

The Screening Room focuses on transformations in the audiovisual market, bringing together executives, streaming platforms, producers and experts to discuss distribution, monetization, international co-productions and new content formats.

StoryVillage also appears among the most anticipated spaces at the event. The stage brings together musicians, artists, influencers, digital creators and executives to discuss storytelling, pop culture, behavior and content production for the internet and digital platforms.

In addition to audiovisual and music, Rio2C also delves into areas such as sports, advertising, branding, technology, visual arts, literature and fashion. The House of Brands stage, for example, brings together executives from companies such as Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, Adidas and Magazine Luiza to discuss marketing trends, creator economy and artificial intelligence.

The event also features practical experiences, workshops, masterclasses, pitching sessions, musical performances, brand activations and spaces dedicated to the development of new talents in the creative industry.
