Scotland's qualification for the 2026 World Cup earned a different honor. Brazil's rival in Group C, the Scottish team printed on a 20-pound commemorative note the bicycle goal scored by Scott McTominay in the 4-2 victory over Denmark, a result that guaranteed their place in the World Cup after 28 years.

The move took place just three minutes into the match played on November 18th. After Gannon-Doak's cross, McTominay hit a bicycle kick to open the scoring. Shankland, McLean and Tierney completed the Scottish victory, while Hojlund and Dorgu scored for the Danes.

The special edition will only have 100 units. Fans can try to purchase the notes at online auctions, raffles and points of sale in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
