The episode of "Euphoria" released this week drew attention due to the controversy surrounding the hot scene starring Sydney Sweeney, 28, and her co-star, Homer Gere. But who is the actor?


The actor who makes his television debut as Dylan Reid is the son of 90s heartthrob Richard Gere. His father starred in a number of romantic comedy classics, including "Pretty Woman," "Runaway Bride" and "Chicago."


Born on February 6, 2000, he grew up in Westchester, New York. He graduated from Brown University in 2024 with a psychology degree and a minor in visual arts.

In addition to "Euphoria", Homer stars in the series "The Shards", directed by Ryan Murphy (still no release date or title in Brazil), based on the erotic thriller by Brett Easton Ellis. The plot takes place in the city of Los Angeles in 1981, following a group of friends from a rich school, while a serial killer attacks the city. He also has acting credits in a few short films and a music video.


Homer is Richard's eldest son, from his second marriage to Carey Lowell, who separated in 2013. From this relationship, Richard became stepfather to Hannah, Lowell's daughter from a previous relationship.


After the divorce, the actor married Alejandra Silva, whom he married in 2018, and the couple welcomed their first son, Alexander, in 2018, and then James, in 2020.
