The Corinthians Deliberative Council votes on the possible expulsion of Andrés Sanchez from the club's membership this Monday night (26).

The former president of the Parque São Jorge club is being investigated for the considered improper use of the club's corporate card during his third term as president of Corinthians, between 2018 and 2021. According to a report from the Corinthians Ethics Commission (EC), the punishment for Andrés should be expulsion from the club.

According to an investigation by the Public Ministry, carried out by prosecutor Cássio Conserino, Andrés Sanchez's expenses on the corporate card exceed R$480 thousand. The former president was denounced by the MP for tax crimes, embezzlement and money laundering.

According to the Public Ministry, the club's credit card was used to purchase imported watches, clothes and medical care. All uses came with Andrés Sanchez's name on the invoice.

Voting takes place from 6pm (Brasília time), at the Teatro do Parque São Jorge, the club's headquarters. Before voting, the Ethics report will be read, and Andrés Sanchez will have the right to defend himself orally.
