Lula and Hugo Motta are scheduled to meet this Monday (25) to discuss the proposal to end the 6×1 working day. According to findings from policy analyst Isabel Mega, the government is working to approve the measure with "zero compensation" for the productive sector.
The central objective of the meeting is to resolve disagreements, especially in relation to the transition rules for implementing changes. "The government is at the table to resolve differences," Mega said on Live CNN this Monday. She highlighted that the most sensitive point in the negotiations is precisely the definition of these rules.
Several sectors of the business community have expressed opposition to the proposal, warning of possible increases in the prices of products and services. According to the analyst, these sectors believe that "the consumer will feel it at the end of the day."

Mega-Sena 3012: draw this Thursday (28) could pay R$6 million
Caixa Econômica Federal is holding the 3012 Mega-Sena contest this Thursday (28). With no winners on Tuesday (28), the...She highlighted that the government's stance, of not offering compensation, meets the demands of the private sector, which expected measures such as payroll relief. This agenda, according to her, seems to have taken a backseat in the negotiations. For micro and small companies, however, there may be some type of specific nod.
"It could be via a bill that accompanies this PEC, which will deal with very specific issues in some categories, or some announcement from the Executive Branch itself, without the need to go through Congress. It could be, for example, a line of credit or some kind of nod of that type", detailed Mega.
Transition rules
Another point under discussion is the time for implementing changes. Isabel Mega explained that the 120-day deadline has already been discarded, and the current consensus points to 90 days, although the government is trying to reduce this period to 60 days. "Precisely because these effects need to start being felt during the election period", explained the analyst.
Toque agora.
Regarding the transition rule itself, the expectation is that an intermediate time will be reached, not as long as five years, nor too short. Although part of the government defends that there is no type of transition, this is not the scenario that is configured in the current negotiations.
